Lungtest Handy is a small portable diagnostic spirometer to be directly connected with a PC via USB. The examination safety is based exclusively on the accessories provided in the set without any need to use anti-bacterial filters.

Lungtest Handy spirometer is easy to use and to maintain. High measurement accuracy and technologically advanced software allow to perform with Lungtest Handy the slow spirometry, flow-capacity curve and the maximal minute ventilation. Due values
Usually the due values are calculated according to ERS.
The spirometer has the implemented due values published by other authors.
 
 Post medicine intake test

When a test is repeated after intake of the medicine, results of the second test are related to the results of the test preceding the medicine intake. Each initial test is marked as PRE and the test following the medicine intake is marked as POST to facilitate interpretation of the recorded results. The software allows automatic evaluation of a diastolic test consistent with ERS.

Standard tests:
Spirometry - a test which allows for determination of VC, IC, ERV, TV, BF parameters and FEV1%VC relationship for a flow-volume loop test. The test is observed in real time on the spirometer display.
 
Flow-volume loop - a test allows for any number of inhalation/exhalation manoeuvres with simultaneous exhalation curves observed on spirometer display. When the test has been completed, envelope is automatically calculated and the following parameters are determined: FEV1, FVCEX, PEF, MEF75 ,MEF50, MEF25, FEF25/75, MEF50%FVCEX, FEV1%FVCEX, FVCIN, PIF, MIF50, and FEV1/VC . It is possible to reject curves with artifacts and select the best curve.
 
Maximal voluntary ventilation - allows for determination of MVV, BR, and BF parameters. Medicine intake follow-up test - when a test is repeated after a patient has taken medicine, results of the test are given as related to the results of a test performed before the medicine has been taken.
 
Database
The database is fit for storage of 100 recent tests, comparison of two tests in the same patient, comparison of four selected parameters out of thirty tests in the same patient.
A standard package contains a program for transmitting the results to any PC.
 
Printouts
Lungtest 500 is equipped with RS or USB for connection to any computer or thermal printer.

In November 2006 we finished checking procedure of new software for Lungtest 1000. All versions of Lungest 1000(Lungtest 1000S and Lungtest 1000SB also) are operated with a program compliant with ERS/ATS standards introduced during ERS 15th Annual Congress in Copenhagen 2005. controlling the tests according to ERS/ATS recommendations.

Lungtest 1000 spirometer designed for pulmonological tests is a stationary modular device able to perform computer analysis of the measurements, operated by any PC with software implemented in any version of Microsoft Windows system. This concept allows practically unlimited implementation of new elements into the test system.

Start 2000 Ergospirometer is a stationary modular system for pulmonary function analysis and cardio-pulmonary exercise tests allowing for complex analysis of the measurements. START 2000 measurement system contains a pneumotach headpiece patented by MES and fast analysers of carbon dioxide and oxygen fit for applying "breath-by-breath" method to each exhalatory phase. 
Optionally, the system may be equipped with a mixing chamber. 
Thanks to application of a modern pneumotach headpiece, the measuring system does not require inhalation-exhalation valve and tube type connections. A test is held in comfortable environment because a subject breathes in natural conditions, without any additional air flow resistance. The built-in spirometric module with unique software controlling reliability of tests as recommended by ERS ensures determination of FEV1, MEF50, and VC, which are the basis for automatic determination of HR, VO2, and VE standard values measured during an exercise test.

 

START 2000 allows for continuous recording in time function of the following signals: respiratory volume, flow rate, O2 and CO2 concentration in exhaled gas and 1-12 ECG leads. 
The system always stores the full course of a test and each exhalation may be reproduced. Presentation of the course of a test and printout of measured changes and calculated values are defined by an operator.

START 2000M ergospirometer is a portable unit for exercise tests of respiratory and circulatory systems held in natural conditions (running, biking, rowing, sailing, etc.) during a training, competition, or rehabilitation without loading devices such as ergometer or treadmill.

 

Thanks to application of a low resistant pneumotach headpiece patented by MES, it is possible to measure minute ventilation for many hours. CO2 and O2 analysers and wireless pulse recording provide for full recording of the most important ergospirometric parameters. START 2000M stores exercise up to 6 hours. The recorded results are transmitted to the computer for analysis, graphic presentation, printout , and storage. This unit may also be operated in laboratories with direct preview of the measured values. Loads may be set on ergometer, treadmill, or other devices. Lab option may be extended with 1-12 ECG leads with full analysis of values, preview in real time, and storage.
